takes pleasure in commending

"Quest45"

for services set forth in the following

CITATION

"During the period February 1974 through December 1976,
while assigned to the Communication Center, Commander
Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters, Petty
Officer "Quest45's" display of superior professional ability,
military behavior, leadership and military appearance was
most commendable. His duties were exacting in nature,
requiring minute attention to detail. In each instance his
performance of these duties proved his superior effectiveness
and reliability. His willingness to accept the challenges
of difficult tasks and his ability to direct the activities
of others in the accomplishment of these tasks proved a
significant asset in operating the Communications Center.
Although the Communications Center was hindered at times by
austere manning, the enthusiasm which Petty Officer "Quest45"
displayed helped to provide the necessary incentive to
complete the job in spite of existing circumstances. Petty
Officer "Quest45's" achievements within the Communications
Center at COMSUBPAC Headquarters reflected great credit upon
himself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of
the United States Naval Service."
